and i have this silly book to blame it on:'stupid sock creatures' by John Murphy

very fun book. i've only made two creatures [hugo and humphrey bogart] strictly "on pattern" from the book, but that's only half the fun. the other half is letting your imagination (and your socks) decide what to make. i also recently bought Daniel Ta's book 'stray sock sewing' but have yet to try it out. maybe soon!
